A VIDEO and photographs showing a dead dog and cat at an unmanaged veterinary clinic in Damansara Damai, Selangor, has gone viral on social media.
The video and photo shared on Instagram show the clinic's dirty and unmanaged condition, with cages and garbage piled up and animal feces scattered around the premises.
The animal carcasses were also found in a heartbreaking state, starting to decompose with their heads stuck between the bars of the cage.
According to animal activist Shima Aris in her Instagram post, two veterinarians who accompanied the rescue team confirmed that the animals had been dead for between seven and 10 days.
However, a cat was successfully found and rescued in a state of trauma.
Shima also urged the public to file an official complaint with the Veterinary Services Department (JPV) to demand justice for the mistreated animals. – December 17, 2025
