Doja Cat has hit out at Timothée Chalamet for his controversial remarks about ballet and opera.

The Marty Supreme actor, 30, claimed "no one cares" about the two art forms during a discussion with Matthew McConaughey for Variety in February.

In a TikTok video responding to his comments, the "Say So" singer said: "Opera is 400 years old. Ballet is 500 years old. Um, somebody named [Timothee Chalamet] had the nerve... to say on camera, that nobody cares about it.

"Your industry has a tough time, my industry has a tough time, doesn't mean people don't care about it."
