The biggest soccer event in the world tends to convert even pop stars into fans of the game.

This was proven when pop star Camila Cabello reflected on her fandom of Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.

Portugal are currently competing in the group stages of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, where they were off to a shaky start against DR Congo.

However, Portugal turned things around in their second game against Uzbekistan, and Cabello seemed to hint that she played a role in that win.

Camila Cabello showered with ‘Siu’ chants

During her recent concert, Cabello spoke about being Portugal’s lucky charm after the team’s dominant win over Uzbekistan.

“I think I’m Portugal’s lucky charm. Forca Cristiano Ronaldo,” Cabello said.

Upon hearing this, a huge wave of ‘Siu’ echoed throughout the arena where Cabello was performing. This meant fans loved Cabello talking about Ronaldo.

However, the singer mistook the ‘Siu’ reaction from fans and said, “Don’t boo me.” Well, the fans were booing her, but she certainly seemed to think so.

Portugal needs to win final group stage matchup vs. Colombia

After a 5-0 win over Uzbekistan, where Ronaldo scored a brace, Portugal is in fine form ahead of their final matchup of Group K.

Ronaldo’s side are all set to face off vs Colombia, who are currently leading the group with 6 points. Portugal, on the other hand, are second with 4 points.

Considering that Uzbekistan and DR Congo are virtually out of the tournament, one may wonder why Portugal still needs a win over Colombia?

Well, it’s to ensure that Portugal gets a favorable path to the Semi-Finals. After all, if Portugal finishes second due to a draw or loss against Colombia, they could face the likes of England, Spain, or even France.
