A bomboloni seller recently shared a screenshot of a conversation where they were accused of practising "usury (riba)" for allegedly charging too much for their goods.

In a post on Threads by @wnfqh_, the seller revealed that an individual, upon leaning that 30 bomboloni were priced at RM50, repeatedly called the price "expensive" and claimed it would drive customers away.
