Kota Kinabalu: Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) Deputy Secretary-General Datuk Armizan Mohd Ali has urged all elected representatives to support an anti-party hop bill that will tabled in the State Legislative Assembly session this Thursday.
Armizan said in a statement that he hoped that no one will attempt to create a political polemic especially when all the parties concerned have publicly voiced the urgency of passing this bill in the past.
At this juncture, he said no one should pretend to be "holy and playing the victim card" as if they were the only victims of party hopping.
"It is already known that party hopping in Sabah is nothing new, [it] is in fact much intertwined with Sabah’s political history," he said.
