A German fan on X went viral for showing his journey through the USA for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, and even got invited to the White House by President Donald Trump.
The mysterious @FreddyLA7 has been going viral all World Cup for his travels through the USA, getting sponsored by airlines and even former NFL star J.J. Watt in this experience.
His viral fame led to a White House invite to meet the President, but Freddy’s sudden disappearance from X put those plans into question.
The White House will still host fan after he deactivated his X due to past comments
The sudden boost in followers led to past comments from Freddy coming to light, which prompted debates and caused the influencer to abruptly deactivate his X and move over to Instagram.
Despite the controversy around his past comments and disappearance from the platform where he generated support for his trip, Front Office Sports has confirmed the White House will still be hosting the viral fan.
“The White House will still host ‘Freddy’ despite the viral World Cup tourist deactivating his X account due to backlash over resurfaced comments, according to a Trump official.”
Will Donald Trump be in attendance for ‘Freddy’s visit?
Nick Adams, the Special Presidential Envoy for American Tourism, Exceptionalism, and Values, in the current administration, arranged this visit and refused to confirm if Trump would receive the fan.

“He may be there, he may not be there,” Adams said.
Freddy has already been given multiple high-profile tours of various places in the USA. This includes the New Orleans Saints and Pelicans and the LSU Tigers facilities, which also led to his connection with Watt, who’s helped Freddy stay in five-star hotels during his trip.
Freddy has also visited concerts, wrestling events, and even spoken to astronauts, but a tour of the White House and a chance to meet the sitting U.S. President will supersede all that.
