
Kota Kinabalu: Donations were presented to residents of Kimanis and Beaufort on Saturday who lost their homes to disasters.
“The donations are meant to ease the burden borne by the victims,” said Sabah Muafakat Nasional Chairman Jismit Japong during the brief ceremony.
He said it was a personal food and financial aid to three fire victims in Kimanis and one in Beaufort.
“No one wants a disaster to happen but it happened. We are grateful no lives were lost,” he said.
