Al-Ahli have completed the signing of Gabri Veiga from Celta Vigo.
Al-Ahli have paid his 40m buyout clause and has included a nominal additional fee based on performance.
Veiga has penned a three-year contract worth 15m-a-season.
He posted a farewell to Celta on Saturday, stating: "I want to tell you with my heart in my hand that the possibility of starting a new life project arose for me, in a team with great players and a great coach and given this opportunity for me I have spoken with the president, I have explained it to him and he has understood."
Celta also stated: "Gabri Veiga embarks on a new sporting stage at Al-Ahli. You will always be one of us and Celta your home. Thank you for defending our shield with your passion. We wish you the best, homegrown player."
