Barcelona have signed Ferro Carril Oeste teenage striker Lucas Roman.
Roman will be registered with Barca Atletic.
Roman will turn 19 in February, signing on until 2026 at Barca with a €400m buyout clause. Barca paid €1.2m to Ferro for the forward.
“Pocho" Roman, as he's known in Argentina, has played for his country up to U20 level.
On Wednesday, he spoke to club media and described himself as a “winger or playmaker, left footed," who can play “all across the attack", saying that he liked “playing one on one and for the team".
He said he was “very happy and had immense joy" at signing.
“I will give my best, it's a privilege that Rafa Marquez is coaching me, I will learn a lot and hope I can give my best," he concluded.
