Brentford have reached a deal with IF Elfsborg for goalkeeper Hkon Valdimarsson.
Brentford have outbid Aston Villa and FC Copenhagen for the Iceland international.
Valdimarsson will join the Bees for 3.1m.
It will make Iceland international Valdimarsson the most expensive goalkeeper ever to leave the Allsvenskan.
Valdimarsson will be in England today to undergo his medical examination and complete the transfer, says Expressen.
Brentford is currently in 14th place in the Premier League.
