Salford City have signed defender Richard Nartey on a one-year deal.
The 23-year-old, who came through the ranks at Chelsea, was released by Burnley at the end of last season.
Speaking to the Salford website, Nartey said: "I'm really happy to just get it over the line, I've been here for a week and a half now so I've met the lads and everything already and after the first couple of days I knew that I wanted to be here.
"As soon as I came here, met the lads, the philosophy and how the Gaffer wants us to play, I think it just suited how I've grown up and I feel motivated that we can push and do really well this season.
"I'm comfortable on the ball, that's something that I spoke to the Gaffer about a lot, just wanting to play my game, be on the ball, but also hopefully as the fans saw against Rotherham I can do a bit of the defensive side as well, as any defender needs to do!"
