Newcastle United have announced the departure of a defender this week.
The Magpies have confirmed that stopper Javier Manquillo has joined La Liga side RC Celta Vigo.
Manquillo, who was not involved in the first team under boss Eddie Howe this season, has signed on a permanent basis.
The 29-year-old gets to work with ex-Newcastle United boss Rafa Benitez at Celta.
The Magpies were complimentary towards Manquillo in a statement on their website, writing:
