Southampton have signed Bournemouth midfielder Joe Rothwell.
Saints announced on Monday evening that they are taking the midfielder on loan from Bournemouth.
The change takes place after a difficult season for 29-year-old Rothwell, where he has mostly been used from the Cherries bench.
Southampton are third in the Championship.
They are three points behind Ipswich, who are second on the table and thus in line for direct Premier League promotion.
