Aston Villa have confirmed Frederic Guilbert's move to French outfit RC Strasbourg for an undisclosed fee.
The 28-year-old French full-back had failed to notch a single appearance in any competition for Villa this season.
Despite being on their books for almost four years, he made just 25 Premier League appearances.
"The club would like to thank Frédéric for his efforts while at the club and wish him all the best in his future career," read a brief statement.
