A shopkeeper has filmed balaclava-wearing children as young as five shoplifting from his Bournemouth convenience store while adults looked on.
Shopkeeper Erdogan Yigitoglu, 52, has taken to sharing footage of various instances of stealing online in order to ‘publicly shame’ the culprits.
One clip went viral, showing the young children stealing fruit and other items from the front of the shop with their faces covered, before returning to the adults they were with.
Yigitoglu, who says the shop thefts have cost him thousands in lost revenue in the 19 years he has run the shop, claims one of the adults even patted a child on the head after watching the theft.
