
A double-decker bus struck a cherry picker on the side of a busy Glasgow road, injuring a worker.
Footage shows the bus approaching the hydraulic lifting arm with a man inside on Baird Street on Tuesday (18 August).
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 12.40pm on Tuesday, 18 August, 2026, we received a report of a man injured after a cherry picker was struck by a bus in the Baird Street area of Glasgow.
“The injured man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
A First Bus spokesperson said: “We are assisting the police with its investigation into the circumstances that led to this incident.”
