Kota Kinabalu: Dr Brandon Patrick Senagang of Hospital Duchess of kent, Sandakan, has been re-elected Malaysian Medical Association Sabah Branch (MMA Sabah) Chairman during its 41st annual general meeting at a hotel, here, on July 5.

The others in the new line-up for 2025-2026 are:

Vice Chairman: Dr Deenish Muniandy of Tawau Specialist Medical Centre; Honorary Secretary: Dr Shahnaz Irwani Sabri of Transfusion Medicine Specialist, Hospital Queen Elizabeth II, KK; Honorary Treasurer: Associate Professor Dr Fredie Robinson of Faculty of Medicines and Health Sciences, UMS; Schomos representative: Dr Francesca Primus Chew, UMS; PPS representative: Dr Moy Chun Keat, UMS.

Over 100 members attended the AGM. They congratulated Dr Brandon for his re-election.

Dr Brandon, who works as a Paediatrician at the Duchess of Kent Hospital, Sandakan, had previously served as chairman from 2022 to 2024.

Dr Brandon, in conveying his accolade, said, “I would like to thank all MMA Sabah members for once again entrusting me to lead the branch.

Your support will definitely inspire me to work even harder to bring our association to the next level. I would also like to thank the outgoing committee members for their hard work throughout the 2024/2025 term.

I look forward to a fruitful term ahead together the dynamic committee members elected,” he concluded.
