KUALA LUMPUR – Former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad has been allowed to return home from the National Heart Institute (IJN) after a two-week treatment of a cough.

His aide, Sufi Yusoff, told Bloomberg that the 99-year-old's health has improved and he is now allowed to “rest at home”.
