Dr Priyanka Parihar, a resident of Upper Roopnagar, Jammu, who shifted base to Patiala after her marriage, has brought laurels to Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab by topping the All-India DrNB Superspeciality Exit Examination in Gynaecologic Oncology and receiving the prestigious NBEMS President’s Gold Medal from Union Health Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda.
An alumna of Government Medical College, Jammu, Dr Priyanka completed her MBBS and MD in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from the institution before pursuing super-speciality training in from Dharamshila Narayana Superspeciality Hospital, New Delhi.
