
Haryana Public Works and Public Health Engineering Minister Ranbir Gangwa said the state government was working with transparency, accountability and public welfare as its priorities. He said ensuring uninterrupted drinking water supply during the summer was among the government’s priorities.
He said the Public Health Engineering Department was continuously monitoring the drinking water supply system across the state. Officials had been directed to ensure the prompt resolution of water-related complaints and make certain that no area faced a shortage of drinking water. Additional tankers were also being deployed in areas where required.
The minister said the government aimed to provide basic facilities to people in a timely and transparent manner. The department was also working continuously towards water conservation, strengthening the pipeline network and improving the drainage system.
He said the Public Works Department was undertaking large-scale development works across the state to strengthen the road network. Continuous efforts were being made towards the construction of new roads, strengthening existing roads and improving traffic infrastructure to ensure safe and smooth transport facilities for the public.
The minister said the Haryana Government was continuing to work with commitment towards the development of the state and the welfare of its people.
