KOTA KINABALU: Motorists have been urged to exercise caution and prioritise road safety as the Hari Raya holidays approach.

City Police Chief ACP Kasim Muda warned that fatigue could easily set in during fasting, making drivers more prone to drowsiness.

He advised motorists to ensure they get enough rest before long trips and to check their vehicle conditions beforehand.

The reminder was issued during the Bubur Lambuk Ramadhan 2025 Programme at IPD Kota Kinabalu, where 1,500 packs of porridge were distributed to road users.

Kasim also confirmed that crime rates remain stable but assured that police operations will be intensified to prevent any surge during the festive season.
