KUALA LUMPUR: A car crashed into a school fence pillar along Jalan Kampung Pasir, Jalan Klang Lama early Tuesday. Police believe the driver fell asleep at the wheel.

“No injuries were reported involving any party,” he said in a statement. Initial investigations found the driver was travelling from Pantai Dalam to his home in Seri Sentosa after meeting a friend.

The driver has since come forward to lodge a police report and provide further information. Authorities are urging witnesses to assist investigations by contacting the Tun H.S. Lee Traffic Police Station.

The case is being investigated under Section 43(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
