- A man has died and a woman remains in a critical condition following a police pursuit near Stratford on Monday afternoon.
- Officers attempted to stop a black Audi on Birmingham Road at around 5.23pm before the vehicle failed to stop and fled.
- The Audi subsequently collided with a white Ford Puma on the A439 Warwick Road at around 5.44pm, damaging several other vehicles.
- The male driver of the Audi was pronounced dead at the scene, while the female driver of the Ford Puma was taken to hospital.
- Warwickshire Police has referred the incident to the Independent Office for Police Conduct, which has launched an independent investigation.
