
Kota Kinabalu: The lower number of Covid-19 test samples on Sunday has resulted in a drop in cases with 167 compared to Saturday’s 187.
Sabah Covid-19 spokesperson Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun said the total number of test samples was 1,840 with a positivity rate of 9.40 per cent on Sunday compared to 1,974 with a positivity rate of 9.22 per cent on Saturday.
Only three districts recorded double-digit cases, namely Kota Kinabalu 81 cases (+13), Putatan 21 cases (+10) and Tuaran 15 cases (-1).
The number of districts that did not record any new infections increased from six districts on Saturday to 10 districts on Sunday including Sandakan which recorded 19 cases previously.
A total of 166 of the 167 cases recorded today are in Category One and Two, as well as one case in Category Four.
