RANAU: Three men, including an Indonesian, who are suspected of being involved in drug abuse in seperate incidents were arrested, here.
In the first incident, the police managed to arrest a 36-year-old local who worked as a gardener, despite an attempt to escape.
The man, who had nine previous records for drug offences, acted aggressively and struggled with police unit during inspection near Balai Raya Kg. Kinasaraban Baru, Ranau before managed to escape.
He was recaptured at another location in Kundasang town.

Read more The suspect was taken to IPD Ranau and the urine screening test, was positive for Methamphetamine.
The case is classified under Section 15 (1) (a) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952 together with Section 353/186 of the Penal Code.
In a separate incident, two men, 41 years and 28 years, Malaysians and Indonesians, respectively, who worked as gardeners and the other worked as a gardener were arrested.
The two suspects tested positive for Methamphetamine and Amphetamine.
The case was investigated under Section 15 (1) (a) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952.
