Details of the incident

The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) responded promptly after receiving a report of the incident and has since detained three individuals to assist with the investigation.

According to a report by Sin Chew, the domestic violence incident occurred at approximately 10 AM on Monday (19 April) at a residence in Tanjung Kidurong. The victim informed authorities that her husband had been drinking and appeared to lose emotional control before attacking her.

What caused her even greater distress, she stated, was that her two children did not step in to protect her during the assault. Instead, they sided with their father and directed abusive language toward her, compounding her suffering.

Police intervention and arrests

Following the incident, the woman ensured her immediate safety before contacting the police. Authorities quickly initiated an investigation and identified three suspects involved in the case.

A special criminal investigation unit conducted an operation later that night, successfully arresting one adult male and two female youths.
