Dua Lipa has lent her support to protests in Albania that have erupted in opposition to a luxury development project linked to Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump.
Demonstrations broke out over Donald Trump's daughter and her husband's purchase of the abandoned island of Sazan, a communist-era military base.
The couple’s deal also includes a $4.7bn agreement on part of a protected coastal landscape in Zvërnec.
Albania's government has backed the development as a transformative venture for the country, aiming to boost tourism and support its bid for European Union membership.
However, the project has been opposed by environmental advocates and critics of prime minister Edi Rama's administration.
Speaking on her Service95 Book Club podcast, the singer, whose parents are Kosovan Albanian, said: "What I actually find concerning is the principle that the government could just change the law to remove the environmental protection without any kind of public consultation."
