SANDAKAN: The hospital is currently tracing the family or next of kin of a male patient stranded in the Male Surgery Ward, Duchess of Kent Hospital (HDOK) since Sept 15, 2023.
Director of HDOK Dr Mohd Fahmie Othman said the patient, Mohd Nong Kanang, 78, a local, was sent by a Kg Paris 1 mosque committee member to Kinabatangan
Hospital and later transferred to Duchess of Kent hospital for further treatment.
He further explained the hospital personnel faces difficulties in obtaining data and background of the patient due to his frail condition.
