
TAWAU: Police here arrested two men suspected of stealing bird’s nests in Kg Iban, Merotai Besar, here, on Sunday.
Acting Tawau District Police Chief Supt Champin Piuh said one was nabbed at a house in the village following a raid conducted by a team from the Bombalai Police Station.
The man is believed to have been an accomplice to another man who resided nearby.
“The first suspect led police to the detention of the second suspect that same day,” he said.
