Possibly the most glamorous way to consume durian, Karrat never disappoints with their annual durian desserts. This year, they’ve launched Golden Durian Sticky Rice, made with Monthong durian, panda-infused sticky rice, coconut crumble, and fresh cream. It is then finished with 24K edible gold leaf. Priced at THB 1990, it even includes a golden spoon.

Durian custard egg tart at Yolk
Yolk puts a spin on the classic egg tart with their Fresh Monthong Creamy Custard Egg Tart, adding a layer of depth to the special fruit. The cake is filled with golden palm sugar caramel for an extra touch of sweet and salty.

Durian sticky rice pie at Bakes Journey
Bakes Journey launches a durian dessert every year, and this year they’re doing Monthong Durian Sticky Rice Pie. Available in three different sizes, the recipe is on the healthier side, as it is sugar-free. The pie comes with a French butter crust, durian mustard, sticky rice, and durian fruit. Durian cakes with fresh coconut milk and sticky rice are also available.
