Everton manager Sean Dyche was afforded a rare luxury during their win over Bournemouth.
The Toffees ran away as 3-0 victors over their fellow relegation candidates on Saturday.
Dyche, who admitted that he has not enjoyed many recent Premier League games, was able to relax after a comfortable win.
Per the Liverpool Echo, he said: I think the fans have seen signs, and the fans that I speak to, we are not talking about the internet warriors; we are talking about fans who have been here for years.
They say to me, 'We can see the signs'; it is just frustrating because we see it and it has been here for a couple of years. We have got to change the story.
I told them we have got to change the story. That is our responsibility, but them performances start to change the story. We have got to continue to do that.
But I think the die-hard Evertonians are aware of that; they know about good performances. Most that speak to me go; we get it; we can see the performances; but we have got to win because they want to win. I'm hungry to win; make no mistake about it, that's what I do it for.
I don't do it for joy. Trust me, this is not a joyful job most of the time. It is that feeling for when you win.
Tonight will just be relaxing for me because I go right, okay, that is what I expect to see from the players, and that is the outcome you want and that is the outcome you get.
I'm not jumping for joy, screaming around; I just think, yeah, it gives you that nice warm glow, a nice relaxing feeling. Everything just tastes a bit better. That's the way it goes.
It is what you do it for. You do it for these moments. The job I'm in is a season's work; it is not just one game.
You move forward and go, 'What can we add in? What can we add in training? What can we move forward with to make it work more often than not?'"
