Arsenal midfielder Mohamed Elneny has heaped praise on Liverpool striker Mohamed Salah.
This season Elneny is on loan at Turkish club Besiktas, but remains close friends with Salah, despite the duo now living in different countries.
He told Milliyet: "Salah is my brother. We played in the same team in Egypt and then he left to join Basel.
"After that, I followed him, and I joined Basel. We were together most of the time. Then he went to England, after that I went to England.
"I don't want to say he is my friend because he is much closer to me.
"Everybody knows what a great player he is. In my opinion, he's one of the best players in the Premier League.
"He knows what he wants. He is very smart. He can see the small details and punish the opposition."
