Manchester United's summer of activity could include a move for Copa America top goal scorer Everton Soares.

That's according to the Manchester Evening News.

The club are looking for options to replace the Inter Milan-bound Romelu Lukaku and the Red Devils are said to consider Soares a top target.

The 23-year-old broke into the Brazil side this summer due to Neymar being ruled out through injury and he more than filled the elusive Paris Saint-Germain winger's place by winning the Golden Boot as the Selecao won the tournament.

Gremio striker Everton scored three goals and bagged one assist which saw him beat Peru striker Paolo Guerrero to the gong, as Brazil won their first trophy since 2007.
