Chelsea youth coach Joe Cole has likened Fikayo Tomori to former teammate William Gallas.
Cole says the defender is benefitting from working with Ashley Cole.
He said, "He reminds me of a young Gallas. We talk about his development, I think it has been absolutely perfect.
"He has had his entire youth career in the academy, since his first six months with Derby with Frank and then Ashley Cole came in and played alongside him for six months.
"Ash used to talk to him every game, you can't imagine a better way to educate yourself and become a centre-half."
