Claudio Ranieri is happy to be taking charge of Sampdoria.
As he did last season at Roma, Ranieri has succeeded Eusebio Di Francesco as Samp coach.
He said, "Replacing Di Francesco again is bizarre, I hope he will soon find a team because he is good.
"It is a joke of destiny, but we will try to do the maximum on the field and then the best one will win.
"I am a positive person and evidently had to go like this: my last team was Roma and I start again against the Giallorossi."
