KUALA LUMPUR, July 12 — The Enforcement Agency Integrity Commission (EAIC) has said its official Facebook account was hacked at 11am today, and that all of its Facebook account administrators are still unable to access the account.

“EAIC is working with the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) to recover access to that account,” it said in a brief statement, referring to its official Facebook account (https://www.facebook.com/eaicofficial).

“In relation to that, EAIC with this denies any status or statement that was uploaded on that link after 11am today,” it concluded.

At the time of writing, a check by Malay Mail of EAIC’s official Facebook page showed that no new posts have been made since last night.
