PENAMPANG: A fatal accident involving a car and a motorcycle occurred in Penampang on Sunday, with police confirming they received a public report at 5.30am.
Preliminary investigations found that a 26-year-old local man driving a car from Penampang collided with a motorcycle near a furniture shop on Jalan Penampang-Tambunan.
AdvertisementThe 31-year-old local motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel, and his body was sent to the Queen Elizabeth I Hospital’s forensic unit for a post-mortem.
The car driver was unharmed and taken to the Penampang police headquarters for further action.
