Kota Kinabalu: Two houses were damaged in a fire at Taman Mutiara Luyang early Friday, but no injuries were reported.
The blaze, which broke out around 3.50am, destroyed one house completely and half of another, while three vehicles — a Perodua Myvi, Toyota Unser, and Toyota Land Cruiser — were also gutted.
A total of 25 firefighters from the Kota Kinabalu and Lintas fire stations managed to stop the flames from spreading, saving 22 nearby houses before ending the operation at 5.58am.
