
Gun shots were fired in Times Square on Thursday (18 June), with video footage showing the crowd dispersing as they ran for cover.
EarthCam footage shows people scrambling across the iconic New York City intersection, after loud gunfire rang out.
Police said that a suspect was quickly chased down. No injuries were reported.
It came just hours after a Knicks victory parade following their NBA championship win came to an end. The event, which was overseen by 10,000 police officers, went off largely without incident.
