Some food, especially the sweet ones, can be a guilty pleasure, but too much of the pleasure can be harmful.
A beverage that is currently making its rounds on the Internet, Special Strawberry Milkshake, attracted the attention of netizens, particularly for its high sugar content. The sweetness is possibly more than what you imagined (and more than what you can take).
In the video, the vendor at a restaurant in Sungai Buloh shared the step-by-step to prepare a 40-litre strawberry milkshake drink, and the speciality lies in the ingredients.
After pouring in the concentrated strawberry juice, the vendor poured in 10 cans of condensed milk, but the sweetness did not end there. The addition of the condensed milk visually “alters” the drink, but here comes more sweetness.
After adding ice cubes, an entire tub of fruit-flavoured ice cream was added in and topped with strawberry-flavoured Nata De Coco as the finishing.
“Easier to find parking”
In the comment sections of China Press, many netizens weighed in on the drink with their sense of dark humour, and some highlighted getting diabetes while others joked about the ease of finding a parking spot with the illness.
