Controversial and extreme teaching by a so-called ustazah has caught the attention of Malaysian social media users as she talk and preached about her intolerable extremist views, as she preached over Islamic values and medical-related issues.

According to Gempak, Siti Afifah, has gone viral early this month, over her extreme views of the ‘aurat’: the area where Muslims must cover for the sake of modesty, between female patients and male doctors, regarding the birthing process. Afifah stated men that who allow their wives to be handled by male obstetrics and gynecologists (Obgyn) are ‘dayus’, under the claim of a woman's private parts can’t be seen by any man except for her husband.

However, OhMyMedia reported, that the notable Islamic preacher, Ustaz Azhar Idrus had clarified the issue, stating it is alright for a woman to be assisted by male doctors during childbirth as it is a life-threatening and has the need of urgency, which Afifah refuted the preacher statement, stating he didn’t experience the pain of giving birth, thus are not qualified to say. The issue has led to many reactions from doctors and netizens, slamming her lack of understanding over urgency issues as well as refuting her argument for female ob-gyn doctors as a female aurat with another female are basically from the belly button to her knees, making its haram for them to view the patient's genitalia too.

Whether it’s the high form fame or desperation for attention, the ustazah has once again gone viral over her statement, saying it is haram to eat painkiller as human marvels over the wonders of the medication, despite the medication making the body closer to death.

According to The Vocket, Afifah stated that as the medication is man-made it may harm the human body, and anything that harms the body are haram. Her gibberish statement and lack of factual and logical reasoning have caused confusion ever netizens as for some of the viewers, painkillers are needed for them to function as a human in tiring times.

“If eating painkillers are haram cause our good deeds are not accepted, I wonder how it would be for people that suffer from stomach pain,” says a netizen in Kosmo.

While netizens wondered and were baffled over her sentiment, some wondered if she does she had the qualification to say so.

Rotikaya has reported the so-called ustazah, does not have the credibility to be taken as a religious expert, and shouldn’t simply utter such statements.

According to motivational speaker and host Amin Idris, he received information regarding this woman, as she does not receive any certification in any in-depth Islamic teaching, making her credibility as an ustazah only lies in her appearance.

“We have to be careful if we want to accept any knowledge from her as she often makes misleading statements," says Amin Idris.

Several religious preachers and speakers such as PU Amin were reported by OH Bulan! with the advice for her to stop spreading misinformation and care for the image she brings on Muslims and Islam.
