Arsenal chief Edu has revealed the detail that goes into new signings.
Edu has lifted the lid on the research that goes into transfer targets.
He told the Mirror: "On my desk I have reports with over 180 pages on one player. It is really detailed. Physical, technical, mental profile - whether you have Premier League experience, whether you will be able to adapt. They have it all.
"We analyse our shortcomings, where we can improve, where we can invest, and from there we go in search of this new name.
"We have been discussing what I should do now since January. It's not my decision or Mikel's (Arteta). It's a whole group's."
