SANDAKAN: The Education Ministry will take full responsibility for addressing flood-related issues and ensuring affected schools in Sabah receive due attention.

Minister Fadhlina Sidek said the ministry is assessing the costs and requirements involved in tackling the matter.

Funds have already been allocated to repair schools damaged by past floods to ensure a comfortable learning environment for students.

She made the remarks during a press conference after officiating at the Sandakan 2 Vocational College at the Sandakan Education Hub on Saturday.

During her two-day working visit, Fadhlina also participated in Ramadan activities with secondary school students.
