SANDAKAN: The drop in the price of chicken eggs has little impact on consumers in Sandakan, says Elopura Assemblyman Calvin Chong.

He was responding to the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN) Sandakan branch’s recent statement that the price of grade A, B and C eggs in Sandakan supermarket has now decreased by 3 sen, and sold at 48, 47 and 46 sen, respectively.

“When I did a survey in several supermarkets around Sandakan, I found that there were more omega-type chicken eggs than normal chicken eggs.
