Khoo Kay Kim dies after brief illness

PETALING JAYA: Historian Emeritus Professor Tan Sri Datuk Dr Khoo Kay Kim has died after a brief illness. His death was announced in a message sent by his family.

Khoo died about 10am at University Malaya Medical Centre. He was 82.

“It is with the deepest sadness that we inform of the passing of our much-loved husband and father. He passed, as he had always lived, with the greatest dignity,” in the message by Puan Sri Rathi Khoo, Eddin, Rubin and Mavin.

“Details of wake and funeral to be announced shortly. We appreciate your prayers at this sad time. May he ever rest in peace.”
