Islamic celebrations of Eid-al-Fitri is a blessed occasion for Muslims to exchange greetings, and express their warmest best wishes and prayers. As the moon graces the sky, their life be illuminated with blessings and joy. May Allah's blessings shine upon us like the starts in the night sky. May the crescent moon bring peace, and prosperity to our doorstep.

On this auspicious month of Syawal, many families choose to organise ‘open house’ inviting relatives & friends for feast at home and held marriage ceremonies for their children. It is a month of celebrations to enjoy the fruits of their success and to find happiness, peace, and endless blessings for their families & communities. That's the power of Eid Mubarak!

My family & I accepted invite from relatives and friends to attend their ‘open house’ and wedding receptions of their children near and far. We travelled up north and down south.

Islam is a religion for peace. These celebrations in the month of Syawal should result with the process of unification for Malaysia to become one country. The need for unification can be attributable to develop a sense of common collective identity among Malaysians. It can also bring together politically fragmented races and parties under one constitution.

According to Quora, when people are united, people are stronger. And there's also common culture, common past, common language. A fragmented infighting Malaysia would be swept away in seconds by superpowers or any other big country. Because the game is a game of thrones, where one wealthy person or group competes against a different group. (www.quora.com)

Soon the Hajj will occur during the highly respected month of Zul-Hijjah. The land of Mecca is tranquil and peaceful. Instead of fear, hatred, and war, the desert is characterised by security and peace. An atmosphere for worship where people are free to face Almighty God (Allah) is prevalent. Human existence is frivolous unless one's aim to approach the spirit of Allah. Muslims must separate themselves from all those needs and greed which distract them from Allah. Therefore, join the eternal human migration to Hajj pilgrimage. (Quran XXII; 27)
