
KUALA LANGAT, Aug 11 - The police are investigating the death of a man believed to have been murdered at an oil palm plantation in Sungai Kelambu, Banting on Sunday (August 9).
Kuala Langat district police chief Supt Mohd Akmalrizal Radzi said eight individuals had been arrested to assist investigations under Section 302 of the Penal Code.
"At about 5pm on August 9, a policeman on duty reported that a 49-year-old local man was found unconscious at an oil palm plantation," he said in a statement today.
Akmalrizal also urged members of the public with information to go to the nearest police station or contact the Kuala Langat district police headquarters operations room at 03-3187 2222.
Meanwhile, all the suspects, including foreigners aged between 20 and 60, have been remanded for seven days to assist investigations following a remand order issued by Magistrate Maslinda Selamat.
