Eight people were injured in Israel after Iranian missile fire, with munitions fragments falling in the Tel Aviv area amid regional tensions.
BNEI BRAK: Israel’s emergency services said eight people with minor injuries were evacuated to hospitals in the Tel Aviv area. Police reported falling munitions fragments following an alert for incoming Iranian missiles.
Six of the injured were treated in the city of Bnei Brak, a largely ultra-Orthodox Jewish area. Magen David Adom, Israel’s equivalent of the Red Cross, specified they were in mild condition with blast injuries.
The military’s Home Front Command said it had received “reports of damage” in central parts of the country. Earlier, at least 10 blasts were heard in the Jerusalem area after missile launches from Iran were detected.
No injuries were subsequently reported from the Jerusalem incidents.
