- Visit the Portal: Head over to the designated JPJ special website - BUDI95 Lesen SG (launched specifically for this initiative).
- Submit Documentation: You will likely need to upload copies of your MyKad, Singaporean licence, and work permit.
- The Wait: Once submitted, your application is forwarded to the Ministry of Finance (MOF) for a thorough review.
- Check Status: You can return to the same platform to check your eligibility status 14 days after your submission.
What if You’ve Moved Back?
Transport Minister Anthony Loke clarified a common concern for those returning home for good. If you no longer work in Singapore:
- You must first cancel your Singaporean driving licence.
- You can then reapply for a Malaysian driving licence (LMM).
Once your Malaysian licence is active, you can apply for the subsidy through the standard national channels, BUDI95 portal.
