PENAMPANG: A 76-year-old man was found dead by the roadside at Beverly Hills Plaza in Bundusan, here, Sunday.
Leong Kee, was found unconscious by the roadside.
Medical personnel who responded to the scene pronounced him dead upon arrival.
Penampang District Police Chief, Supt Sammy Newton, said the deceased had been sent to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for further examination.
“Preliminary investigations at the scene revealed no criminal elements. However, the case is still under investigation and classified as sudden death,” he said in a statement, Monday.
Identification documents showed Leong’s address is at Jalan Durian Mentangau, Kampung Baru Penyiram, Terengganu.
Police are trying to locate the deceased’s family members and are appealing to the public for help.
